Editorial policy

Honesty first. We never invent experiences, reviews or testimonials. When we describe a real trip or a product someone on our team has used, we say so. Otherwise, a recommendation is our opinion, based on the product's reputation, materials, design and what other buyers report.

Fewer recommendations. We would rather suggest one good thing with a clear reason than a list of twenty.

Independence. Brands cannot pay to be included. Affiliate commissions never decide what we recommend, and we clearly mark affiliate links.

Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it. Write to us through the newsletter page.

For adults. TaylorMac is written for adult women. We do not create content directed at children.
