About TaylorMac

TaylorMac is for the woman who is comfortable in her own skin and wants her life to feel that way too. She might be a law professor or a new empty nester, the friend at the 7:30 class or the one who always has the next book club pick. She takes care of herself without apologizing for it.

We write about the things that make that life lovelier: fewer, better things to wear; a calm, uncluttered home and a Sunday loaf; rituals of care; books and new skills; and smarter ways to travel.

Who is Taylor?

Taylor is the voice of TaylorMac: a friend with good taste and strong opinions, who would rather recommend three things than thirty. Where a story describes a real trip or experience, we say so. Everything else is offered as an idea worth trying, not a claim that we have done it.
